CPS Energy has 1,900 vehicles on the road and 1,100 employees with a commercial driver's license. It only makes sense that the company makes sure its drivers are obeying the law, but CPS also wants to teach drivers how to drive well. CPS Energy introduces its new Mobile Training Lab equipped with a VS600M truck simulator and a VS500M light vehicle simulator build by Virage Simulation.
"It's a training tool that's designed to really hone in on our employees and enhance their driving techniques," said CPS Energy spokesman Albert Cantu.
